Rotary Valve Selection Guide

Conveying Valves

Granular, powder and quick-clean models, working pressure ≤ 0.2 to ≤ 3.5 bar.

Overview

Working pressure
≤ 0.2 / ≤ 1.5 / ≤ 3.5 bar
Size range
4" ~ 24" (by model)
Media temperature
-10 ~ 120 °C
Flange standard
PN10, ANSI 150#; others on request
Scope
Design, supply, installation and commissioning

Rotary valves feed pneumatic conveying systems and meter material. Choose first between pellets and powders, then the series by working pressure, and finally confirm size, flange and material. We provide design, supply, installation and commissioning.

How to choose

01

Material

For pellets and regrind, start with GRH, GRM or GRL; for powders, with RVH, PBH or PRM.

02

Pressure

Use the ≤ 3.5 bar series for high-pressure conveying and the ≤ 1.5 bar series for medium pressure; GRL suits gravity discharge and metering.

03

Duty

For frequent changeover and cleaning, choose GQM. For high temperatures, add RE electric heat tracing or an RS steam jacket.

04

Rotor

Eight standard rotor types are available and can be adapted to the material, e.g. Stellite-hardened vane tips.

FAQ

Can one rotary valve handle both pellets and powders?

Our range is divided into granular and powder types. The GQM quick-clean valve handles pellets and powders; for the others, use the table above.
