Defined by the material, liner and vehicle

CDU PG02 is designed for free-flowing bulk materials with a low tendency to cake or bridge. Receiving, discharge and operating controls are arranged on a frame-mounted unit. Configuration depends on the material, liner interface and downstream conveying system.

Features

  • Frame-mounted arrangement for the discharge components
  • Connected receiving and discharge assembly for downstream conveying
  • Local control cabinet for on-site operation
  • Optional fluidization assistance to suit the material

Applications

  • Free-flowing powders with a low tendency to cake or bridge
  • Free-flowing granules and other bulk materials

Choosing a CDU model

Six configurations for different discharge requirements: start with flow behavior, then match the liner interface and installation arrangement.

ModelArrangementMaterial focusReceiving concept
PG01Container-mountedPowders and granules; poor-flow powdersWide inlet, opposing flights
PG02Container-mountedFree-flowing powders and granulesFrame-mounted receiving unit
PG03Container-mountedCaking, poorly flowing bulk solidsAccess panels, central discharge
PG04MobileFree-flowing powders and granulesWide fishtail inlet
PG05MobileFree-flowing bulk solidsThree liner connections
PG06MobileFree-flowing granulesRound inlet, rotary valve

This comparison supports initial selection. Final configuration depends on material trials, liner dimensions and conveying conditions.

Information for selection

These inputs help match the receiving interface, discharge assembly and downstream conveying system.

CategoryInformation to provide
MaterialName, powder or granule, particle size and bulk density
Flow behaviorAngle of repose, caking or bridging tendency, moisture
DutyTarget throughput, operating temperature, batches and duty
Container linerOutlet count, shape, dimensions, location and attachment
Container and siteContainer type, available tilt angle, space and equipment layout
Downstream conveyingConveying method, distance, lift, pipe size and receiving conditions
Utilities and controlsPower supply, compressed air, interlocks and site interfaces

Throughput, tilt angle, materials and connection dimensions are confirmed for the application.
