Dust Collectors
Compartment pulse cleaning, inlet loads up to 1300 g/Nm³.
Design data
- Inlet dust load
- ≤ 1300 g/Nm³
- Cleaning
- Off-line pulse cleaning by compartment
- Filter bags
- Polyester felt ≤ 120 °C; aramid felt ≤ 210 °C
The PPW air-box pulse-jet bag filter combines the advantages of compartment reverse-air and pulse-jet cleaning: cleaning is strong enough, and it does not take place while the compartment is filtering. The result is higher collection efficiency and longer bag life. Besides ordinary dusty gas, it handles inlet concentrations up to 1300 g/Nm³.
Features
- Casing, bag compartments, hopper and inlet/outlet, with supports, ladders, railings, compressed-air piping and cleaning controls.
- No venturi or blow pipes above the bags – pulse valves blow compressed air straight into the clean-air plenum, giving low cleaning resistance and easy compartment-by-compartment inspection and bag changes.
- Incoming gas strikes a baffle so coarse particles drop into the hopper (pre-separation); the gas then rises through the bags and leaves via the clean-air chamber.
- The casing is divided into independent compartments, cleaned in turn by a sequence controller: the poppet valve closes, then the pulse valve fires.
Applications
- Chemical, metallurgy, power and building-material plants
- Crushing, drying, grinding, packing and silo-top dedusting
- Coal dust requires additional fire and explosion protection
