The tubular chain conveyor is a fully enclosed, dust-free mechanical conveyor: discs on a chain pull material through a pipe that can turn in several planes (including 90°). It suits most powder and granule duties and helps keep plants clean.
Features
- Fully enclosed and dust-free – no spillage or contamination
- Chain tensioner keeps optimum tension with zero return tension – low wear on discs, chain and pipe
- Turns in several planes – ideal for complex routes, tight spaces and high-level transfer
- Modular design for fast assembly and easy maintenance
- Multiple protection and safety measures greatly reduce failures
- High-efficiency structure with low energy and operating cost
- Simple, intelligent controls – operators learn quickly
Applications
- Powders, granules and premixes
- Food, pharmaceutical and fragile products
- Corrosive or abrasive chemicals and minerals
- Wet, sticky and hot materials such as ash
- Proven on TPA/IPA, fly ash and adipic acid powder
- Tested on PET flake, PVC and PVA
Main structure
Drive wheel box / tensioner station
Rigid structure and high-strength sprocket for smooth, stable running, low wear and little residue; polished inner surfaces.
Pipe / chain / disc
Discs assemble easily on the chain; compact spigot flanges with polished surfaces run smoothly with low wear.
Inlet / outlet hopper
Rigid design with polished interior for smooth discharge and no residue in dead corners.
Motor / gear reducer
Quality brands for high efficiency and low failure rates.
Inspection window
Quick-check window for easy routine inspection.
Control system
Convenient, intelligent controls that interlock with the plant PLC.
Typical arrangements
These are common layouts – every system is adapted to the material and site.
Horizontal loop
For long horizontal runs with several inlets and outlets on one level.
Vertical loop
For lifting from ground level to silo tops with a small footprint.
